the film makers, River Stories, Q & A.
Jan. 16, Wed.: Keep Sedona Beauitifull presents Katie Lee with readings from her books and River stories. This woman has spent more than half of her life working for the restoration of Glen Canyon, lying dead behind GC Dam.
Jan. 25-26: Featuured Artist at Rio Fest Film Festival - Soccoro, NM showing " Love Song to Glen Canyon " plus readings
with Q&A after.
Feb. 27-Mar. 2: Sedona International Film Festival Sedona, AZ. Katie's Love Song to Glen Canyon will be shown along with
ML Lincoln's documentary of her--Drowning River" Katie will not be present, she will be at the venue below.
February 29-30: Durango Independent Film Festival, Durango Colorado.
Katie appears Friday & Sat. evening 7:00 PM to speak and show her new film "Love Song to Glen Canyon"

May 23-26: Telluride Film Festival - Symposium-Drilling Down:Water and the southwest: As a special corollary to the Moving Mountains Symposium, our 2008 Festival will pay host so a specific and locally relevant forum addressing water issues in the arid Southwest US. Special attendees will be Martin Litton and Katie Lee.
July 14: Mingus Springs Camp, Mingus Mountain, AZ- Mingus Springs Writer's Workshop - The Writer's Workshop will be from July 13 - 17, 2008. October 4: The Cline Library at Northern Arizona University is honored to announce the debut of a new exhibit celebrating the life and living legacy of outspoken environmental activist, author, and folksinger Katie Lee. As part of the festivities, the Library will host a free public event with Katie on Saturday, October 4 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Cline Library Assembly Hall. Please plan on attending for a memorable evening of Katie's stories, songs, and readings. Books and CDs will be available for purchase and signing by Katie after the event. Parking is available behind the Library (see campus map: http://home.nau.edu/maps.asp) in Lot 13 off of Riordan Ranch Rd.
October 18: Confluence: A Celebration of Reading and Writing - Moab, UT. Focuses on the influence and work of Edward Abbey. The Intensive Writing Workshop, October 14th - 17th. Classes take place both indoors and out, and registration is required for space is limited. The weekend, October 17th-19th, is packed with all manner of events to enjoy with the entire family. Guest artist Katie Lee's films are Saturday, October 18th from 5:30 - 7 pm at Star Hall, with a Q&A session afterward.
