September 2, 2010:
"KDNK presents an evening with Katie Lee" - Aspen, CO. Thursday, September 2, 2010, 7-9 pm at the Wheeler Opera.
Katie will share stories and will also screen a home movie she made in 1962 of her last trip down the now inundated Glen Canyon on the Colorado River, known today as Lake Powell. This film has never been publicly screened.
Local author Bruce Berger was also on Katie's Last trip down Glen Canyon. He will open the program with a reading from his book "There was a River," where he describes that voyage in 1962 before the floodgatges were closed at Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell began to fill.
Tickets for the show are $15 and are available at the Wheeler Opera House and at aspenshowtickets.com.

May 28 - 31, 2010:
Katie will be featured at a breakfast talk featuring Meredith Ogilby and Corinne Platt, with their book, Voices of the American West, in which she shares an interview, with other authors, teachers, scientists, ranchers, Native Americans, artists, government officials, conservationists, activists. As the authors put it:
"The visionaries presented here are, in our opinion, the West's heavy lifters."
She will also share a talk with Dave Foreman, also in the book. He was a founding member of Earth First and in more recent years of The Rewilding Institute.

Feb. 4, 2010:
