September 22, 2009: "Aspen Historical Society" - Sept. 22, - 3:30 to 5:30 PM The Aspen Historical Society is presenting a gathering of friends old and new to meet and talk with Katie Lee, former Aspenite of the '60s, at the Wheeler/Stallard Museum, 620 W. Bleeker St., Aspen, CO.
July 25, 2009: "Defining Folk Music - The Series" - Sat, July 25, 2009, 2:00 & 7:30 P.M. Show Blue Rose Theater, 415 W. Gurley, Prescott AZ
This is number five in a series defining the Folk Music of the central Arizona Highlands. Eight concerts that each deal with a question in regards to some aspect of the history and future of Folk Music. A morning workshop that explores the question through the music.
March 14, 2009: "Tucson Festival of Books" - University of Arizona Campus in Tucson - Gallager venue. Katie will be speaking with Chuck Bowden on the subject: "Writing the Murder of the West". Saturday, March 14, 2009 - 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. A book signing will follow untill 1:00 pm.
May 15 & 16, 2009: "Garden City Localfest: Celebrating the Soul of MisSOULa" - Missoula, Montanna. Elements Tour, www.oilandwaterproject.org, will be filming a documentary live at at event and Katie has been invited to perform friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Friday May 15

May 20, 2009: "Resurrection" - Cline Library Assembly Hall, May 20, 7:00 pm with Annette McGivney & James Kay the authors of the new book "Resurrection" which is about the reemergence of a few of the upper ends of the side canyons of the Glen, and the sinking level of Powell Reservoir. " Katie has some reservations about this beautiful book, which will surprise no one."
Feb. 27, 2009: "Confluence: Language, Culture, and Community" - NAU Campus, Room 135 of the Liberal Arts Building. Katie will be one of the guest speakers on Friday, February 27, 2009 - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Admission is free with donations accepted.
Feb. 8, 2009: Katie will conduct a Workshop,"Never Accept the Inevitable"at Prescott College Crossroads Center -- Grove Street (off Iron Springs). Sunday, February 8, 2009 - 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Feb. 7, 2009: "Confessions of a Sandstone Junkie" - Prescott, AZ. Katie will be Keynote Speaker for the Master of Arts Program at Prescott College. Saturday, February 7, 2009 - 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
