I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Abbey in person, but I have read Monkey Wrench Gang many times & listened to Katie Lee's 10,000 Goddamn Cattle and Colorado River Songs so many times that they are a part of me. My main regret is that I met Katie too late in life that we never got the chance to roll with her in the Mud of her beloved Glen Canyon.
