Simply wonderful! I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Abbey in person, but I have read Monkey Wrench Gang many times & listened to Katie Lee's 10,000 Goddamn Cattle and Colorado River Songs so many times that they are a part of me. My main regret is that I met Katie too late in life that we never got the chance to roll with her in the Mud of her beloved Glen Canyon. Never stop writing about our loss of wild places...Love Ya like Chocolate Dear Katie.

A REAL GOOD READ---found this via researching SONGS OF COUCH AND CONSULTATION, for some tunes I plan to adapt to poetry I write. I'm posting on ourpoetrycorner@wordpress.com, writing mostly limerick form---at little of everything for subject. I like progress, but too bad the Canyon remains in its prison. I wish I could someday see...and taste...it! Best regards. Jonathan Caswell.
